I have learnt how to use the program Photoshop. Before I started this project, I had never used Photoshop, so I have learnt a great deal of skills including how to create and edit a magazine. I have also learnt that I really enjoy using Photoshop to edit photos and create media products because I really enjoyed shooting the photos and editing them on the program. I also learnt how to experiment on Photoshop from learning how to do all the different editing options and by looking at how things can be arranged together to create a successful media product. I also learnt more about how to take photos with a digital camera because i have done this before, but this project allowed me to practice and improve the skills I had already developed and now I am a lot more confident in taking good quality photographs than I was before. This also helped me experiment with different kinds of shoots and with using mise en scene to change how the photos looked and change the overall mood and atmosphere of the photos. If I was stuck or wanted help with Photoshop or taking photos, I would just ask my friends or teacher for help, which also helped a lot with improving my media skills.
