Interview with Ruby White:
The star who appeared from overnight talks about her new debut album and upcoming tour for 2013!
MM - So this is your first interview with 'Major Magazine'
RW - Yeah, and I’m really excited to be here!
MM - So do you write your own music?
RW - Yes I do, but a few of the tracks on my album I co-wrote!
MM - When you write a song, do you know whether it is going to be a hit or not?
RW - Not really, but it depends. Sometimes I know that it has a good beat and a catchy melody, but I usually cant tell until I get into the studio or show it to my producer.
MM - Well it looks like you are doing a good job so far!
RW - yeah, I think even with most artists there is a lot of luck along the way, but it also involved a hell of a lot of hard work so I think I am really lucky and proud to be in the situation I am in now!
MM - Cool, so what can we expect from your debut album?
RW - Well it comes out in January in the new year and I am so excited! It is just something I am really proud of as I have been working on it for a longgggggg time.
MM - could you tell us how many tracks will be on the album?
RW - Yeah, it has 12 song all together. Five of them I co-wrote, seven I wrote on my own and it also features two bonus tracks!
MM - Will this be featuring your new single?
RW - Yeah, 'Milestone' will be featured as well as my next single, which will be released on Monday so look out for it!
MM - Can we pre-order it?
RW Yes, you can pre-order it from ITunes today.
MM - well we are really excited to hear it.
RW - Thanks! Its great to have you guys support haha.
MM - So will there be a tour coming from you any time soon?
RW - Yes in 2013! we are planning it now and where I am going to perform, depending on how the album sells. So if you want to see me perform live at a venue near you, you have to buy my album! haha
MM - Well you literally came out of Know where with your new single and look where you are now!
RW - Yeah I know! I have such a great supporting fan base who have helped me achieve and get as well known as I am now. I can't even go out to the shops without being stopped by fans!
MM - What is it like to suddenly be recognised by your fans?
RW - Its crazy! I don’t even really know how it happened, it is like fame came to me over night haha.
MM - Do you still get star strucked, even with your new found fame?
RW - All the time, the other day I was at a film premier and I got so star strucked!
MM - Well you seem like you have stayed grounded haha.
RW - Yeah, I think I am lucky that I have stayed down to earth, though I dont avoid the odd party haha.
MM - Well you have to take advantage of fame sometimes haha. Thanks for letting us interview you!
